Mr. Marco Del Rio Chivardi works at Mexico’s National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV) as Alternate General Director for Access to Financial Services in the financial inclusion department. Holding this position, he carries out analysis using the information delivered periodically to the CNBV by the regulated financial institutions. Moreover, he supports the elaboration of Mexico’s first National Financial Inclusion Policy. He also coordinated the elaboration of the seventh and eight edition of the Financial Inclusion National Report. In addition, he participates in the analysis of the regulation regarding the access to and usage of financial services in order to identify potential areas of opportunity.
