Farhod Bilolov

Farhod Bilolov has a master’s degree in Economics from the Technological University of Tajikistan and is currently a researcher aspirant at the Institute for Economics at the Academy of Science of Tajikistan.
Farhod has 7 years experience working for Governmental Institutions, during which time he gained experience working with Private Public Partnership companies, financial institutions, as well as International Organizations. In terms of International Organizations, Farhod has worked at the Energy Charter Secretariat, based in Brussels and acted as a National Consultant for many international organizations like UNDP, UNECE, KEMA GmBH and others. He also serves as a Director of Financial Monitoring Department under the National Bank of Tajikistan. At this position his work related to supervision of the implementation of banking regulative norms/standards by financial institutions. This is in addition to the formulation and adoption of updated standards for banking supervision, especially on AML/CFT area.
Working at the NBT, he initiated and proposed the adoption of the National Strategy for development of AML/CFT regime in Tajikistan. He is currently initiating several projects, including formulation and adoption of The National Financial Inclusion Strategy for Tajikistan.
Currently, he serves as Director of International Relations Department at the National Bank.
