Firdavs Tolibov
Deputy Head of Second Inspection Division, Banking Supervision Department National Bank of Tajikistan
Firdavs Tolibov was born on March 11, 1980 in Muminobod region of Tajikistan. After primary and secondary schools, he finished Tajik-Turkish High School of Kulob city in 1998. After high school he was awarded a scholarship from Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) of Cyprus. In 2003 he graduated EMU with a Bachelor of Arts in Banking and Finance and came back to Tajikistan. Upon his return, he started to work with the licensing division of the banking supervision department of the National Bank of Tajikistan. Later in 2007, he moved to work in off-site analysis division of the above mentioned department. During his work he has attended several seminars and trainings both inside and outside his country. In 2009, Mr. Tolibov recieved a scholarship from IMF to continue his study in Japan. He gained his masters degree in public policy from National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (Tokyo, Japan) in 2010. After, on his way back home, he started to work in the microfinance division of the banking supervision department and until now is working in the same division.
