Nicholas Cetoupe
Financial Services Analyst
Central Bank of Seychelles

Mr Nicholas Cetoupe is a 28 year old Seychellois. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies from the University of Manchester. Mr Cetoupe started his career in the Policy Unit of the Financial Services Supervision Division, based within the Central Bank of Seychelles (CBS) since May 2011, where he still remains. Whilst the main aspect of his work focuses upon the development and implementation of prudential policy frameworks targeted at banks, the Division’s mandate has over the years expanded to cover a wider array of supervised institutions, of which Mr Cetoupe has been elemental in the formulation and development of the framework for introducing financial leasing in Seychelles. Other aspects of his work has also touched upon CBS’ aim of increasing financial literacy in Seychelles via the publication of several finance-related articles published within local newspapers. Mr Cetoupe intends to further develop this program and aims to empower society (in as much as possible) with the knowledge required to make optimal financing decisions. His desire to always guide people whenever possible in making financially sound decisions, coupled with CBS’ aim, has given him the conviction to make a difference, and to sustainably do so by also focusing upon our youths and providing them with an excellent foundation to build upon. His hope is that this idea will be resonated globally for the whole world to benefit.
