Stanislaw Zmitrowicz graduated in Accounting, in 1999, and studied law between 2005 and 2010. He started his professional life in the Central Bank of Brazil in 2000, at the Banking Supervision Department. He also worked at the Department for Financial Illicit Combat on foreign exchange monitoring and money laundering prevention. His first work with financial consumer protection was in 2007, back in the Banking Supervision Department. When the Coduct Supervision Department was created in 2012, he joined the team, first as bank examiner, and since 2013 as coordinator. He is also the Department representative at the AFI Consumer Empowerment and Market Conduct Working Group and OCDE Financial Consumer Protection Task Force.
