Temesgen Zeleke has been designated a Charter by Examination from the Chartered Insurance Institute of London, and has a BA degree in Accounting from Addis Ababa University. Temesgen has worked for more than 25 years at the National Bank of Ethiopia in different capacities. In January 2010, he was promoted to Director to Insurance Supervision Directorate. Recognizing his experience and progress in inclusive insurance, he was promoted to Head of Financial Inclusion Secretariat in July 2015, and is still working in this capacity.
