Data & Code

Coming soon: The most up-to-date global estimates on the cost and affordability of diets from the Food Prices for Nutrition project will be posted on the Food Prices for Nutrition DataHub, part of the World Bank DataBank. These estimates are based on food price data aggregated by the World Bank’s International Comparison Program (ICP) Global Office, which you can learn more about here. The full methodology is published in the Background Paper for the SOFI 2020 report.

You can also find our work on Our World in Data’s Food Prices page, or view all data for 2017 as a spreadsheet.
