Tufts CREATE Solutions

CREATE Solutions brings together innovative, solutions–driven climate research from across Tufts University and builds capacity for further research and impact. Tufts experts in technology, behavioral science, economics, biology, ecology, agriculture, and policy are active in this interdisciplinary institute. Food systems play a large role in current carbon emissions and must be part of the global transformation needed to meet the challenge of climate change.

CREATE Solutions partners with programs and departments at Tufts such as the Office of Sustainability, The Cummings School Master of Science in Conservation Medicine, The School of Engineering Master of Science in Offshore Wind Energy Engineering, and The Tufts Institute of the Environment, as well as with outside-Tufts organizations such as New Entry Sustainable Farming Project and the Partnership for Offshore Wind Energy Research.

Current research projects at CREATE Solutions include Climate Change, Environmental Degradation, and Urban Migration, Resilient Rural Development: Exploring the intersection of People, Energy, Forestry, and Agriculture, and The Impacts of Zero Budget Natural Farming (ZBNF) in Income, Productivity and Resilience.
