The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at Tufts features many of the same faculty, academic departments, and research centers and institutes as the Undergraduate School of Arts and Sciences. The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences is also highly collaborative with the School of Engineering.
The research centers include the Global Development and Environment Institute and Tufts Institute of the Environment. Academic programs include doctorate, masters, and certificate programs, in areas such as Bioengineering, Environmental Economics and Urban Planning, and Public Policy.
Similar to the School of Arts and Sciences, some of these degree programs feature food systems more directly than others. It should be noted that food systems are interdisciplinary in nature and any interdisciplinary academic activity inherently has something to do with food systems.
