This site was created by the Tufts Food Systems Initiative as a place where Tufts faculty and students can connect about common academic interests where they had not been able to easily connect before. However, this site is certainly not exclusive to the Tufts community. In fact, the Tufts community expands beyond its campuses, into the surrounding neighborhoods and cities, and into the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the country, and the globe. Tufts faculty, students, and organizations partner with other academic institutions and individuals around the world to meet the challenges on which they work. As an institution, Tufts has many partners in the Greater Boston Area, working on innovative solutions to challenges in local food systems.

We’d especially love to hear from anyone outside the Tufts community who would like to get involved with the food systems work going on at Tufts. Growing the Tufts food systems community is our goal at the Tufts Food Systems Initiative!
