Conference Chair: Isha Vajpeyi

Isha is a second year Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy candidate at the Fletcher School, focusing on International Business and Environmental Policy. She has three years of work experience in USA, Belgium and India working with think tanks, private sector and non-profit organizations on issues of climate change, education, gender, and public health. At Fletcher, Isha is a Research Assistant at the Hitachi Center for Technology and International Affairs and conducts research on the role of technology in climate change. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Delhi, India.

Conference Chair: Shara Madan

Shara Madan is a second-year student in the Masters of Arts in Law and Diplomacy (MALD) program at The Fletcher School, Tufts University with a focus on Political Economy, International Business and International Legal Studies. She is an India-qualified lawyer who worked at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas for 4 years specialising in M&A, Private Equity, Corporate Governance and Securities Laws. She has also had a professional stint with India’s premier political consultancy organisation, Indian Political Action Committee, and has advised a major Indian political party on electoral strategy and public policy matters. At Fletcher, she is also a former editor, and current Legal Associate with the Fletcher Forum of World Affairs

Director of Conference Content: Anshu Meghe

Anshu is a second-year MALD student at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, specializing in International Security and Development studies. He holds a master’s degree in International Business Economics and a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Economics. Prior to coming to Fletcher, he worked with the Government of Maharashtra in India in various capacities to implement multi-agency projects in rural livelihoods, financial inclusion, and women entrepreneurship. He is passionate about developing approaches for economic policy implementation in developing countries and emerging markets that accommodate culture and diversity and foster growth.

Director of Conference Content: Lazaros Kyrimis

Lazaros is a first-year MALD Greek-French student at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. He holds an LL.M* in European and International Law from the Europa-Institut and three bachelors in Arabic, Farsi and International Relations from INALCO, Paris.

Having undertaken multiple internships in the Arab world and Iran, he is currently focusing on the intersection between the economy and politics.
At the Fletcher Political Risk Group, Lazaros is the Director of Conference Content.

Director of Marketing: Aashna John

Aashna is a second-year candidate pursuing the Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy with a focus on international economic relations and international trade. She holds a bachelor’s degree in law and business from Symbiosis Law School, Pune, India. Prior to joining graduate school, Aashna worked with the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India and founded a sustainable apparel startup in 2020. At Fletcher, she is a business associate for the Fletcher Forum of World Affairs, a graduate consultant for the Fletcher Social Investment Group, and a communications assistant at the Jonathan M. Tisch College for Civic Life.

Director of Finance : Patrick Fazari

Patrick is an international student from Switzerland pursuing a double-degree program at the Fletcher School with the University of St. Gallen (Master of Arts in Law Diplomacy and Master of Arts in International Affairs and Governance candidate focusing on International Economic Relations and International Business). He completed his undergraduate studies in international affairs at the University of St. Gallen. Before joining Fletcher, he worked as an intern for a non-profit association active in regional climate policy and as a business analyst intern for an international company selling Swiss chocolate around the world. He speaks Italian, English and German.

Director of Operations: Pratyusha Joshi

Pratyusha is a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy candidate focusing on comparative and regional studies and international business. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international relations with a concentration in governance and peace, from Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto, Japan. Before going back to the academic world, Pratyusha worked with in the Press and Culture department of Republic of Korea Embassy in India and later worked with Brookings Institution India Center in development and outreach. At Fletcher, she holds leadership position with the Working Group on Strategic Competition in the Indo-Pacific, De-colonizing International Relations conference, and the Japan Club. She is trilingual with fluency in English, Hindi and Japanese.

Director of External Relations: Anastasia Thano

Anastasia Thano is a second year Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy candidate with a focus on International Business, Trade, and Development Economics. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Political Science from the University of Massachusetts, Boston. Prior to landing her first full-time role, Anastasia interned at a number of organizations including the Consulate General of Greece in Boston, the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, and Beyond Conflict. She then worked in fundraising for an environmental sustainability non-profit organization and volunteered as a fundraising consultant for a humanitarian legal aid NGO based in Lesvos, Greece. During her time at Fletcher, Anastasia has had the opportunity to intern with the SME Finance Forum at International Finance Corporation. Anastasia has been an active member of the student community at Fletcher by volunteering her time and service to several student organizations and academic initiatives such as Fletcher Women in Business, the Fletcher Social Investment Group, the Journey’s Project, and Digital Planet.
