Calls to Action!

1.  Seeking Social Media Curators

FWN is excited to announce that have launched a new guest editor program for our Facebook and LinkedIn pages. We are recruiting two editors a quarter for each page to post content around the theme of Women in Leadership. Lauren Jencik F’17 is our very first guest editor. Look out for her posts in the coming weeks.

As a guest editor, you will find interesting and engagement-driven articles, videos, and other newsworthy items related to Fletcher, women in international affairs (security, economics, technology, gender related topics, development, etc.), and other relevant topics to post on our social media pages. Examples of engagement-worthy postings can be (but are not exclusive to) job postings, news articles relating to international affairs and women in international affairs, polls and surveys, upcoming Fletcher, Tufts and community events you may be aware of, promoting the work of Fletcher women alumni.

If you are interested in serving as a guest editor, please contact Judy Dunbar (dunbarjs@gmail.com) and Jennifer Haworth-McCandless (j.haworth.mccandless@sidley.com).

2. Start Your Own Local Group!
As we welcome Boston and Geneva to our list of local groups, we encourage anyone interested in starting your own local group to emailfletcheralumnae@gmail.com to reach Allyson Hawkins or Ashley Doliber for US-based groups, or Annin Peck for groups outside the US. Check out our “How to Get Started” Guide and “Communications and Branding Guidelines”, found on the FWN Local Groups page.

3. Keep your Contact Information Current

We use the emails from the Fletcher/Tufts Online Community to reach our members (all Fletcher alumnae). It is helpful if you will include whereyou are, so we can reach out to you when there are events in your area. Go to the Online Community to check and update your information.

Best to all!
Mollie Pepper, Editor and Co-Chair, FWN Communications Committee
