Lily Haile
My Name is Lily Haile I joined the ODDET lab as a Master’s student in January 2022 to work on the Safety assessment of Femtosecond Laser for in vivo imaging of Epithelial tissue. I got my undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering Focusing on imaging and instrumentation in July 2021. During my internship at St. Paul Hospital which is located in Ethiopia, my other two colleagues and I observed there was a need for blood warmer in the hospitals since the medical personnel use oven and room temperatures to warm the blood. we developed inline dry heat blood warmer that uses a temperature sensor, programmable microprocessor, and heater to fulfill the need in the country. I enjoy going out with friends on my free days and I like eating Our cultural food called “Doro Wet” which is like a sauce with chicken meat and flatbread.
