Barcelona: January 12-14, 2018

An Evolving Europe

Join us for our GMAP Alumni Weekend in Barcelona, Spain, January 12-14, 2018. The Alumni Weekend will coincide with the midyear international residency of the GMAP Class of 2017-2018.

It is a fast-paced and momentous time for Catalonia, for Spain, and for those of us who are watching events there closely. It is certainly an extraordinary time for GMAP to be going to Barcelona, capital of the Catalonia region, where the central issue for Europe—regions vs. the nation-state—is being played out. Politically and intellectually stimulating issues and conversation will be at the heart of our alumni weekend programming in this colorful city with a rich history. Check back often to see updates to the Alumni Weekend Schedule of Events.

We look forward to the unique setting that Barcelona will offer us during the residency and alumni weekend, and we very much hope you will join us!
