- Salt or sugar
How to make:
- Remove the peel and slice the plantains into thick pieces. This can be quite difficult and we recommend watching this video as a guide.
- Heat a pool of oil in a pan until hot, then add the plantains and cook until slightly browned on both sides.
- Take them out and use the bottom of a jar or any flat surface to smash the cooked plantain flat.
- Fry again until crispy.
- Sprinkle them with sugar or salt and enjoy!
