Did you know that this month is National Nutrition Month? While March is soon to be a  memory, there’s still a couple of days left to celebrate. National Nutrition Month ” is an annual campaign created by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. During the month of March, everyone is invited to learn about making informed food choices and developing healthful eating and physical activity habits” (

There’s  *always* a good time to start taking steps towards a healthier diet! The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ web site has a wealth of information to get you started on the path of healthier eating. A great starting place is their “Food” resource site:, which will walk you through the fundamentals of a healthy diet and how to plan and budget for healthier means.

So, how should you celebrate National Nutrition Month? Go and eat something – something healthy!
