System: Lymphoid, Organ: Ileum, Tissue: Peyer’s patch, Species: Dog. Comments: Peyer’s patch cut “en face”. Crypts of Lieberkuhn surround the lymphoid nodules. Lymphocytes, with scant cytoplasm and dark staining nuclei, aggregate into nodules.
