U! R! S! S! 23!
Please join us for the 23rd annual Undergraduate Research and Scholarship Symposium, Tufts’ only university-wide event celebrating undergraduate research.
This year’s event features incredible work exploring topics from Rwandan architecture to the electroweak connections at the Large Hadron Collider, from Charlotte Bronte’s queer marriage plot to the economic infrastructure of the New England shellfish.
Despite the logistical challenges presented by a year of remote work, not to mention the personal difficulty and loneliness of such a long time isolated from friends, colleagues, and the rhythms of life, these students were able to do incredible, challenging work.
The Symposium will run from Monday, May 17 – Thursday, May 20. A full schedule of the presentations can be found here. Oral presentation times as well as zoom links to panels are on the first sheet of the spreadsheet. On the second page, you can find a list of the posters that will be presented. Posters will appear on this site as blog posts, grouped by category, daily over the course of the Symposium.
Also! We are featuring a new element of the Symposium this year. Artademic!: Art Your Research will feature students’ creative interpretations of their research, for (moderately) FABULOUS CASH PRIZES. Winners will be announced on the final day of the event in a range of categories.
