Beyond course offerings, ISSP sponsors “outside-the-classroom” activities designed to enrich the education of our students by addressing the emerging issues of 21st century international security and learning from leaders who have had to address those challenges.  They are as follows:

Lecture Series: ISSP invites senior civilian policymakers, military commanders, journalists, and academics to engage with students on their current work, career path, and discuss security issues in the headlines today.

Red Team: A two-day simulation exercise held twice per year to teach students Red Team skills that improve how we ask questions, expose and challenge assumptions, identify information gaps, and develop creative alternatives for problem solving.

Senior leadership Forum: ISSP invites retired senior leaders from government and industry to share their experiences in addressing the complex security challenges of our time in an intimate, fire-side chat format with students.
