Bailey Levin
Bailey is a junior studying biomedical engineering. He is happy to be back to interacting with people, but still finds it difficult to understand people at times when they are wearing a mask. That, as well as his family members who are hard of hearing, has motivated him to explore potential ways to improve communication with masks. Eddie Burr
Eddie is a junior studying biomedical engineering, specifically regenerative medicine and tissue engineering. After being deprived of normal social interaction for almost two years, it is clear to him that our communities from the past need to be brought back to life, and improving communication between mask wearers is a great start. Outside of academics, Eddie enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, writing music to sing and play on the guitar, and exploring the world out in nature. Elysia Chang
Elysia is a third year Biomedical Engineering major. She spent her past year and a half in Singapore due to the COVID-19 pandemic where she took virtual classes. With the transition from an online to in-person semester, it has been a struggle for her and many others to clearly hear what others are saying while wearing a mask in the classroom. She is excited about the possibilities of what this project can do, and you can view her personal websites at: https://sites.tufts.edu/echang as well as https://www.elysiachang.com
