About me

I am a second year PhD Student in STEM Education at Tufts University.

I obtained my Secondary Mathematics Teacher degree at Universidad de Montevideo in Uruguay, where I have also been teaching prospective elementary teachers about Didactics of Mathematics. I have a obtained a Master of Arts in Educational Research at Universidad ORT Uruguay.

My research interests focus mainly on the development of early algebraic thinking. I am interested in exploring the emergence of early algebraic thinking in kindergartener students. For example, I am currently exploring how young students coordinate seeds of algebraic thinking to elicit new ideas when working with function tables and graphs.
