16 students (seniors and grad students) worked together to build the Harry Potter Marauder’s Map. The course had a number of parts to it, starting with forward and inverse kinematics, then some image processing and FPGA coding, a little mobile robotics mixed in with an introduction to the Internet of Things. The final project (after many smaller competitions) resulted in a Harry Potter experience, from entering the room of requirement to tracking people and things on the marauder’s map. The rest of the site describes the work the various teams did, their reflection, and then a short set of impressions from our judge – Dr. David Kahle.
