My research interest is in numerical (multi)-linear algebra and inverse problems.  My work includes the development of fast models and algorithms for solving large-scale, inverse problems (e.g. deblurring images, or reconstructing a map of the optical absorption of light in breast tissue for cancer detection) as well as the development of multiway data representation (imagine a stack of images, or frames in a video sequence), decomposition, and compression algorithms.
