  • Basic starting point
  • Good for finding Industry profiles
    • Search company name and note the following industry classifications
      • SIC
      • NAICS (useful for searching by this to look at industry as a whole)
    • Sometimes has competitive reports
  • To find competitors:
    • Note the NAICS number for the company
    • Click “Advanced” on the search page
    • Enter the NCAIS number
    • View results (lists companies in that industry)

    • Click the NAICS category
    • On the left, click on Market Research
  • MarketLine Industry Profiles sometimes have 5 Forces Analyses
  • RMA Industry News has
    • aggregated financial data
    • estatements
    • Can look at loan data
    • Google “How to read RMA studies” for help reading these
    • Can get financial data for an industry
