The American Museum of Natural History is seeking to hire an Early Childhood Science Educator specifically for workshops and camp programs that serve children ages 3-6 and their caregivers. The Museum has a commitment to engage young children and their caregivers in content rich learning experiences that are developmentally appropriate for young learners. The ideal candidate will have experience with designing interactive science lessons and teaching effectively to the target audience. Workshops and camps happen during after-school hours, on weekends, and during vacation break weeks. The educator will report to the Senior Manager of Discovery Room and Adventures in Science Programs.

Ideal candidates must have expertise and experience designing and delivering science activities for young children. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in education or science; a Master’s degree in education or science is a plus.
