The Corporate Giving Officer is responsible for identifying, developing cultivation strategies and soliciting 5-6-figure gifts from corporations and corporate foundations. The position manages a portfolio of corporations and corporate foundations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identifies, researches, cultivates, solicits, and stewards corporations for sponsorship support and for philanthropic gifts and grants.
  • Supports CF&G’s annual goals for corporate sponsorship and corporate support ($5M for FY14.)
  • Focuses on a portfolio of ~100 corporate prospects with capacity to make significant contributions at the 5- and 6-figure level.
  • Writes proposals, conducts visits and implements other actions to advance prospects from corporate membership (4- and 5-figure levels) to more significant levels, and to share in the further cultivation of mid- and high-level prospects (7-figure levels) with the Director of Corporate, Foundation and Government Relations.

WORK SCHEDULE:

This position is full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday.

Director, Corporate, Foundation, and Government Relations

Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors of Science or Arts degree preferred.
  • Three (3) or more years of corporate giving experience.
  • Experience in cultivating philanthropic relationships and soliciting gifts and/or sponsorships

STARTING SALARY:

Exempt (Salaried). Commensurate with experience.
