Lannan Gallery and Boston Harbor Auctions is seeking a few eager candidates to assist with administrative duties & cataloging for our Spring art and antique auction as well as fulfilling important roles on auction day. Our spring art and antique auction date is currently Sunday, April 12th, 2015.

Areas of operations in need of support:
Social Media Marketing and Press Releases
Catalog Assembly and Editing
Data Entry and Proof Reading
General Administrative Duties

Auction day areas in need of support:
General Assistance with Customers & Phones
Scribing
Auction Flex Operation*
Online Bidding Console*
Phone Bidding*

*Experience in these areas is not required. Will train the right candidate.

Qualifications:

Candidates will be present in the energetic and busy Gallery environment and may also fulfill some duties from home or school. Weekends not required with the exception of auction weekend – April 11th & 12th, 2015.

The positions are ideal for interns, Art History or English majors and/or professional (or formerly professional) individuals who are looking for intern credit, temporary or regular seasonal employment. The opportunity is available on a rotating basis for approx. 5 months, twice a year.

Candidate should possess a willingness to learn and be able to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
