Old South Meeting House Museum Assistant [Old South Meeting House]

The Old South Meeting House, a busy non-profit museum, historic site and active meeting place in downtown Boston, seeks a dependable and outgoing individual to help ensure a high-quality and enjoyable experience for more than 75,000 visitors each year. This position works with the general public in admissions, on the floor of the museum and in the museum shop, and assists with interpretive talks and educational programs.
Qualifications:
Requires successful experience working with the public, enthusiasm for interacting with visitors and an interest in museum work and history. This is an entry-level, visitor service position with training provided; prior museum experience is a plus but is not required. We are currently seeking candidates available to work two to three days per week with availability required at least one weekend day.
