Danforth Art is seeking friendly and responsible candidates to work as a Visitor Services Representative. Position is responsible for admissions, information, and sales. Visitor Services Staff greets visitors and groups and must keep informed about museum exhibitions, events and programs. Part-time position available, 10-15 hours per week, which will include shifts on both weekdays and weekends. Candidates should have flexibility to pick up additional shifts as needed. The museum is open Wednesday through Sunday and Thursday evenings.  The museum closes for five weeks beginning the first Sunday in August.

Qualifications:
Candidates must possess excellent customer service and organization skills, with the ability to multitask. Candidates must be dependable and enjoy interacting with the public as part of our Visitor Services Team. Interest and background in museums and/or art a plus. Some college and one year professional experience working in a public service environment preferably in customer service or retail.
