Job Description

The Leadership Giving Manager is a new position that will establish and then manage MoAR’s giving program for donors making annual gifts of $5,000 to $100,000.  Reporting to the Vice President of Advancement, the position will take primary responsibility for planning and launching the giving programs that will engage these donors, and then managing them to achieve significant fundraising support for the Museum.  The Manager will also engage in personal prospect activity, including identifying prospects, cultivating relationships, soliciting gifts and planning stewardship events. To accomplish these goals, the position will establish and work with volunteer leadership and will plan and execute recognition activities and events.

Job Requirements

  • Create, plan and implement the organizational structure that will engage donors from the $5,000 to the $100,000 level, establishing such things as membership benefits and cultivation, stewardship and recognition activities and events to broaden and sustain the base of leadership and annual support.
  • Develop and draft all leadership giving collateral and branded materials.
  • Cultivate, manage, and otherwise support a group of leadership annual gift external solicitors and volunteers.
  • Cultivate, solicit, and close annual gifts of $5,000 – $100,000 from individual donors through direct personal visits.
  • Working with other Development staff, identify new prospective leadership annual giving donors and develop moves management strategies for each.
  • Work closely with Development colleagues to coordinate and integrate the leadership giving program with direct mail, e-solicitation, corporate relations, and other fundraising activities and to identify prospects with leadership annual giving potential and readiness.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
