SUMMARY STATEMENT:

Directly supports the Sr. VP of Advancement to achieve the overall fundraising goals and assures the effective engagement of Trustees and Overseers to advance the Museum’s mission.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Daily:
    • Field 25 phones
    • Answer 25-50 emails
    • Schedule 25 internal/external meetings
  • Weekly:
    • Set agenda and record minutes of Sr. VP’s Sr. Team Meetings
    • Process 5-10 gift transmittals
    • Enter 25-30 contact reports into the database
  • Monthly:
    • Prepare 2-4 PowerPoint presentations (and speaking points)
  • Yearly:
    • Arranging 3-5 business travel arrangements

WORK SCHEDULE:

This position is full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday – Friday.
REPORTS TO:

Senior Vice President, Advancement
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 or more years of executive administration experience.
  • Bachelors of Science or Arts degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated:
    • Organization skills
    • Ability to anticipate needs and attention to detail
    • Prioritization skills, mature judgment
    • Ability to handle confidential information in a sensitive and mature manner
    • Customer service skills dealing with a wide range of audiences
    • Ability to set and meet deadlines, define and implement initiatives and projects
  • Strong writing skills (accountability statements 1-5)
  • Ability to compile and run reports from excel or other data bases

STARTING SALARY:

Non-Exempt (Hourly). Commensurate with experience.
