CAPITAL CAMPAIGN COORDINATOR

Description:
MASS MoCA seeks an organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and persuasively persistent person with 2-4 of development experience to serve as a full-time Campaign Coordinator, for a two year campaign effort. The Campaign Coordinator will support the MASS MoCA’s director, the development office, and volunteer leadership in planning, coordinating, and executing MASS MoCA’s $30 Million Confluence Campaign.
Reporting to the Director of Development, the Campaign Coordinator will:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the campaign
  • Support the development staff, leadership, and campaign volunteers in fundraising efforts
  • Assist with scheduling and preparing for campaign visits
  • Maintain contact reports and research notes in the database
  • Manage all campaign materials (print and digital), prospect pipelines, tracking, assignments, and timelines
  • Research and identify prospects
  • Draft talking points as well as strategy memos, presentations, or other materials as needed
  • Develop proposals in response to campaign requests and follow-up
  • Oversee acknowledgement of all campaign gifts and pledges
  • Coordinate campaign pledge payment reminders and pledge agreements
  • Maintain the campaign master calendar
Qualifications:

Experience in fundraising, specifically capital campaign is required, as is experience in donor tracking and database management. The individual must also be creative, strategic, and capable of speaking to small audiences; the Campaign Coordinator must be able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Excellent writing, analytical, and research skills are essential. Experience with volunteer management is preferred. Bachelor’s degree required. This is a full-time, benefits eligible position.
