Museum Office Manager

Description:
The Armenian Museum of America is seeking a Museum Office Manager. This position calls for an individual with strong multitasking skills to provide a wide range of administrative functions and ensure efficient operations of the museum office; strong marketing awareness with a creative approach to driving membership, presenting programs, and overall office and admin know-how and skills; and the ability to identify problems and find creative solutions. Responsibilities will include handling the museum’s membership/outreach, marketing and general administration duties, as well as coordinating all public programs including exhibit openings and lectures.
Qualifications:
Qualifications: BA or Associates degree with 3+ years of marketing or administrative experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong reporting skills with attention to detail; solid organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines; the ability to work independently and manage changing priorities with efficient time management. MS Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop and email marketing software experience necessary. PastPerfect , Dreamweaver/Quark express, website maintenance and familiarity with Quickbooks a plus. Experience working in museum or non-profit environment preferred.
