Job Description

The incumbent will be responsible for public program development and implementation within the Museum & Exhibits Team. All responsibilities will support the overall goals and objectives of the Culture & Creativity Division as aligned with the Center’s mission.

Qualifications

  • A professional resume, which includes work with diverse audiences to achieve the highest standards in educationally engaging, culturally relevant, and intellectually stimulating program development and delivery.
  • Education minimum:  Master of Arts or Master of Science in a related field.
  • Experience specified: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a museum or cultural organization serving diverse audiences through high quality and accessible programs.
  • Must have demonstrated experience in planning and budgeting, audience development, and program evaluation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identification of public programming opportunities to raise awareness and to engage the Center’s audiences.
  • Budgeting and planning for day one staffing requirements, and identifying initial offerings.
  • Conducting audience research and delivering pilot programs designed in accordance with strategic goals.
