Member and Visitor Services Representatives (Temporary)

Description:
Join us as a temporary MVS Representative for the once in a lifetime fall exhibition, Class Distinctions: Dutch Painting in the Age of Rembrandt and Vermeer. We’ll host more than half a million visitors for this classic exhibition, in addition to the popular, Made in the Americas: The New World Discovers Asia, Crafted: Objects in Flux, and Sargent Archives. A successful candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, as they perform a variety of duties including: selling general admission, film and lecture tickets, MFA Memberships and MFA Guides.Immediate openings for 25 hour per week temporary staff through January 2016. We are seeking conscientious candidates who are able to work a flexible schedule, which may include nights and weekends. Successful temporary representatives are given priority consideration for permanent positions when they arise. Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must possess exceptional customer service, communication, and computer skills. At least three months of related experience, including cash handling experience, is required. Applicants with Tessitura experience will be given top consideration.
