Job Description:

The successful candidate will communicate with consignors via telephone and email, coordinate scheduling with movers, and oversee acquisitions. He/she will create detailed inventories, record object condition information, and assist with cataloging fine and decorative arts consignments. He/she will also be responsible for tracking objects physically, and in the database, and ensuring that all items are appropriately allocated and accounted for. He/she will regularly provide status updates to consignors, and resolve inventory discrepancies.

Job Requirements

Job requirements:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relational databases a must. Fine and decorative arts or museum collections management background a plus. Organized with excellent time management skills. Travel is required in D/M/V and PA.
