Visitor Services Manager

 

Position Overview

Baylor University is seeking a retail professional with strong leadership skills for our Visitor Services Manager. This position is responsible for operational management and organization of visitor services in the Mayborn Museum Complex. Weekend and occasional holiday hours are required for this position, as is knowledge of inventory control, accounting and merchandising strategies. The 40 hour work schedule is primarily in the evenings and on weekends.

 

The successful candidate for this position will:

  • Possess strong leadership and critical thinking skills
  • Be a self-starter and work well without supervision
  • Have experience supervising staff
  • Be creative and be able to solve problems under pressure

 

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s Degree, three years of relevant work experience, and a Christian faith are required. Five years of relevant work experience are preferred. Prior museum experience is desirable.
