Protective Services Supervisor

Description:
The Worcester Art Museum seeks a top-notch Protective Services Supervisorto direct protective services personnel and to assist Security and Safety Manager in the management of the Protective Services Department, with emphasis in the areas of evening hours, weekends, and special events. This position will oversee all Protective Services activities when serving as supervisor-on-duty; provide on-site supervision of Protective Services during special events; supervise and train gallery attendants and desk guards in the performance of their duties; and schedule all gallery attendant coverage for events, tours, classes, and special details. Other duties include coordinating First Aid and CPR training for staff, managing incident and injury illness reports, parking sticker database records, scheduling ID appointments, and issuing photo ID badges and control related permissions and access privileges.

Qualifications:
The Protective Services Supervisor must possess excellent leadership and organizational skills, and have a high degree of honesty and integrity. Knowledge of security procedures, systems, and devices is essential. Must be reliable and an able to work flexible hours, including one weekend day every week.

The successful candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus specialized training in security. Minimum of three years in similar position or security/law enforcement environment. Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.
