Executive Assistant to President/CEO

Description:
The Executive Assistant to the President/CEO at the New England Aquarium serves as the key liaison on behalf of the President/CEO and is responsible for maximizing the effectiveness of the President’s Office in meeting its goals by providing comprehensive administrative support. Responsibilities include, but arenot limited to, assisting with Board of Directors activities and communications, managing administrative functions, completing special projects, calendar coordination and providing support and assistance for various events. Working closely with the Director of Special Projects and Fundraising Events, the Executive Assistant directs the priorities of the office and is responsible for managing all interactions involving the President/CEO.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • A minimum of 3 years of executive assistant experience in a non-profit organization required.
  • Experience supporting Executive-level colleagues and a Board of Directors required.
  • Experience working within a fundraising / development role is strongly preferred.
