Temporary Archivist

The Temporary Archivist has the unique opportunity to set up an archive program for the Robert S. Peabody Museum of Archaeology at Phillips Academy in Andover, Mass. Museum records span from before the museum’s inception in 1901 to the present. Archival materials include field notes, correspondence, reports and a variety of documents and photographs from museum founder Robert S. Peabody and notable archaeologists. Archival documents are estimated at over 375 linear feet. The Temporary Archivist reports to the Registrar/Senior Collections Manager and consults with the Phillips Academy Director of Archives and Special Collections.
