Description

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Financial System Administrator (FSA) provides support and training to the Aquarium user group. The FSA assists in the design, implementation, and maintenance of financial and statistical reports from financial systems.  The FSA, working closely with IT and Oracle, assists in the design, implementation, and maintenance of system enhancements.

Core Responsibilities:

Reporting and Documentation

  • Creates and maintains financial system and user documentation
  • Create, maintain and update standard financial reports and forms
  • Develop customized reports as requested by Business Operations Staff
  • Update the departmental procedures and process maps for Planning and Essbase annually

System Administration

  • Coordinates Service Requests raised with Oracle Support to ensure timely resolution
  • Maintains system security administration activities to ensure appropriate level of access
  • Manages key and descriptive flexfields creation and configuration, including definition, usage, and maintenance
  • Investigate and recommend solutions for system enhancement requests
  • With Business Analyst, Developer and SMEs perform requirements analysis, prepare functional and technical design specifications
  • Assess departmental processes and management decision making needs and propose more effective system solutions or tools
  • Acts as a liaison between Database Administration, Development, Support and Functional teams during design, development and implementation of application solutions, including managing code migration

Training and Support

  • Trains users in related systems and processes
  • Answers helpdesk calls and tickets
  • Troubleshoot end user issues
  • Supports day-to-day application operations, including interfaces and integrations, printers and other peripherals
  • Other technical support to the department as needed

Absolutely Required Skills / Knowledge / Ability / Experience or Education

  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion and Hyperion applications
  • Experience designing security controls for process, application, interface and data migration
  • BS/BA degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Business or Engineering
  • Exceptional project planning, resource coordination and documentation skills
  • Microsoft Office/Suite proficient
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to multitask efficiently and effectively
  • Strong analytical capabilities and problem solving skills

Desired Skills / Knowledge / Ability / Experience or Education

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion and Hyperion applications required, cloud-based preferred
