Boston Art is seeking a full-time, Project Manager with prior office experience to join our fun and hard-working team. He or she will report to one of our firm’s art consultants and the Director of Art Administration & Business Development. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for art and a strong proclivity for business/project management to make an impactful contribution at a rapidly growing company.

About our Company:

Boston Art is a full-service art consulting firmspecializing in planning, designing and delivering custom art programs for corporate, healthcare, hospitality and residential clients. Our goal is to find aesthetic solutions that enhance our clients’ spaces and correspond with their values, mission and corporate culture. We aim to support hundreds of local and national artists and maintain a rotating inventory of artwork in a variety of styles, media and price ranges. As a close-knit team of 18 creative and driven individuals, we strive to maintain an energetic, collaborative and solution-oriented work environment.

Responsibilities:

· 80-85% of responsibilities: serve as a dedicated assistant to an art consultant. Maintain appointment schedule, manage all emails and communications, meet with clients in consultant’s absence and attend and take notes at all client meetings

· Contribute to development of creative material and oversee execution of multiple administrative projects simultaneously; monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met

· Research fine art treatments; communicate with artists and vendors on behalf of consultant; order artwork

· Understand the key contacts and business goals of art consultant and assist consultant in building relationships and developing client pool; proactively seek new business and opportunities

· Execute follow-up on appointments, conversations, walk-through and conference calls

· Prepare letters, proposals, invoices, purchase orders and expense reports

· 15-20% of responsibilities: contribute to success of entire firm either through marketing or business development

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree required (please include GPA and any awards or recognition); art history preferred

· 1-3 years administrative, project management or office experience

· Excellent written and interpersonal skills

· Knowledge of graphic design, database management and Adobe Creative Suite; Microsoft Office

· Driver’s license required
