SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The CRM Manager is responsible for ensuring the Museum makes the best possible use of Tessitura as our comprehensive ticketing, CRM, development, and membership system. The CRM Manager creates and leads a collaborative partnership with and between Marketing, Advancement, IIT, Education, Finance, and Visitor Experience and Operations supporting organization-wide adoption and effective use of Tessitura and related applications. Coordinating the Museum’s Tessitura Super Users Group, a cross-divisional team, the CRM Manager will guide the establishment of priorities and policies and foster best practices for Tessitura and related systems at the Museum.

The CRM Manager will function as the business-side project manager on Museum-wide Tessitura projects and initiatives, working in tandem with IIT on the technology/development side. In addition, the CRM Manager will function as the lead Tessitura applications specialist for the Visitor Experience and Operations division providing Tessitura oversight and support for ticketing, membership, ecommerce, and self-serve kiosks. As an ambassador between the Museum and the Tessitura Network, the CRM Manager will facilitate the Museum’s participation in the member network and advocate for the Museum’s needs and priorities in the development of the Tessitura roadmap.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Super Users group represents 7 divisions and more than 15 departments
  • Tessitura supports:
    • Museum attendance of 1.4 million or more
    • Membership of 50,000+ households
    • Ticketing, sales, and reservations for 15 or more venues or programs
    • Philanthropic contributions totaling $30 million+

WORK SCHEDULE:

This position is full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday.
REPORTS TO:

Associate Vice President, Visitor Services & Membership

Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors of Science or Arts degree.
  • 7 or more years of experience in a leadership role involving coordinating/project management and/or configuration duties for Tessitura or a comparable CRM, financial, ticketing, and/or fundraising application(s).
  • Proven business analysis experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in reporting and data analysis – use of data to guide decisions and priorities.
  • Demonstrated or proven communication skills – written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated experience in forming effective partnerships across business units.

STARTING SALARY:

Exempt (Salaried). Commensurate with experience.
