Description Job Summary

The Group Sales Coordinator’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining reservations and billing, schedules for group tours, school and other organization visits by utilizing the online booking software.
  • Preparing and maintaining sales records, spreadsheets and accurately producing reports and other departmental documents
  • Answering phone calls and emails promptly in a professional manner.
  • Assist with building the client’s interest in the services and products offered.
  • Participate and assist with the Education Program by interfacing with teachers and school administrators, and scheduling Skype tours and in-school educational shows.
  • Soliciting new business through email marketing and phone call campaigns, while maintaining current client list.
  • Assist with handling and resolving customer complaints.

Qualifications:
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must be able to handle multiple interruptions and adjustments to priorities throughout the day.
  • Ability to work with money, credit cards and cash receipts.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining a professional and pleasant demeanor.
  • Shall be able to read, write and speak fluent English in order to communicate with clients, fellow CAST members, and the general public.
  • Flexibility to work nontraditional hours and weekends

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in group sales or other sales related job preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, database and reservation systems highly preferred.

This is not a historical interpreter/actor position.

Successful candidate must pass a pre-employment drug test and background search.
