Description:
SUMMARY:   Trains for interpretation in the Wampanoag Indigenous Program.  Learns to exhibit traditional crafts and skills and to interact with museum guests in ways that help them understand Wampanoag history and culture.
Qualifications:

  • Interest in and appreciation of American, Native American and European culture and history.  Interest in and appreciation of Wampanoag traditions, customs, and craft practices is especially desirable. Ability to exhibit and interpret Wampanoag crafts at a proficient level.
  • Ability to teach others about the work that is being performed.
  • Dedication to developing proficiency in interpretation.
