Where:  Longfellow National Historic Site, Cambridge, MA

Home of 19th century poet & scholar Henry W. Longfellow and Gen. George  Washington’s headquarters  (1775-1776).  Historic house museum with original furnishings, fine &  decorative arts, archives of 700,000 original documents, and historic  14,000 volume library.

What:  Full-time (40 hrs/wk) tour guide (park ranger) position, Wednesday- Sunday

Starting Date: Late May  –  September 2011

Salary range: $12 – $15 per hour

Qualifications: United States citizenship. At least half-time enrollment  in a 4-year college  degree-granting program or in a graduate degree program through Fall 2011. Weekend work required.

Duties:  Provide house tours to visitors, assist with special events,  staff visitor center/bookstore. Computer & public speaking skills necessary.
