OUR MISSION
Tufts Pre-College Philosophy and Philosophy for Children are courses dedicated to educating children and high school students about philosophical issues. Every week, Tufts students in these classes visit Medford High School for Pre-College Philosophy and Elliot Pearson Children’s School for Philosophy for Children to discuss philosophy with the students. With lesson plans that tackle topics such as personal identity, aesthetics, and ethics, we are committed to providing the students with the tools they need to analyze the world through the lens of philosophy

MEET OUR FOUNDER

Susan Russinoff did her undergraduate work at Washington University and earned a Ph.D. in philosophy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has published articles in the areas of philosophy of language and logic. At Tufts University, she is a Distinguished Senior Lecturer in the Department of Philosophy, where she also runs the Tufts Ethics Bowl Program and teaches courses in pre-college philosophy and philosophy for children.
