OUR MISSION
Tufts Pre-College Philosophy and Philosophy for Children are courses dedicated to educating children and high school students about philosophical issues. Every week, Tufts students in these classes visit Medford High School for Pre-College Philosophy and Elliot Pearson Children’s School for Philosophy for Children to discuss philosophy with the students. With lesson plans that tackle topics such as personal identity, aesthetics, and ethics, we are committed to providing the students with the tools they need to analyze the world through the lens of philosophy
See our page “Why Philosophy?” to learn a little bit about the benefits to including philosophy in school curriculums and to find resources on teaching philosophy to children.
