What is a good argument? How do we know if something makes sense? Can something be both true and false? How do we judge what is logical vs illogical? These are all questions that can be asked under the philosophical branch of logic. Logic seeks to understand the rules and structures that govern valid reasoning and the ways in which we arrive at conclusions.
