Interventions

Intervention Dashboard and Simulation Tool

During the final phase of the Predict-to-Prevent study, we will assess the individual and combined effects of individual and community-level interventions, including provision of overdose education and naloxone distribution; increased access to the medications for opioid use disorder, methadone and buprenorphine; and substance use treatment training for clinicians. Based on these findings, we will create an interactive dashboard displaying results from our models. A simulation tool will allow users to select from interventions applied at varying levels of intensity and observe the predicted impact on fatal overdoses in their local communities. Once available, the dashboard and simulation tool will be displayed here.
